We were pleased to attend the 2019 National Conference of LAPA (Local Authority Property Association) earlier this month, which was held at Wairakei Resort in Taupo.
Our Industrial Design Manager Martyn Round spoke about ‘The 8 most common causes of HVAC issues and what you can do to help minimise them’.
Don’t think HVAC (heating, ventilating and air-conditioning) needs to be on your radar? Think again! If you want to start a heated discussion (pun intended), ask office occupants how their air conditioning is, then duck for cover… Without a doubt, it’s one of the most contentious aspects of working in an office — just ask the poor person who has to field all the complaints! This is especially true at this time of year, with summer’s hot weather and the strain it puts on air conditioning systems. Warm weather months are the most common times for HVAC complaints and failures, right when you need AC the most!
There are many issues with most existing HVAC systems, but there doesn’t need to be! There are some very common issues that can very easily be solved.
