After 15 years in facilities management, you soon get to know who are the industry leaders you want to do business with: Jacksons is one of them. With a long history behind us, they’re a preferred supplier for us for good reason.
I engage them mostly for larger projects with a capital expense to create a professional scope of work so we can ensure contractors are going like-for-like. Managing a property portfolio worth $750m and rising, it’s invaluable for me to have an independent expert weigh in with their expertise. I get them to come back halfway through to ensure everything’s been done to scope – that the contractors’ not using different materials than specified and they’re covering off what they’ve been contracted to do. I then also get them to do a final sign off so that I know everything’s going 100% as per the agreed scope. It’s great to have that recourse if we need it.

I’ve worked with Jackson Engineering for the best part of six years, at two different property fund management companies – and for good reason.
